Lungleng Lal In

The old residence of Lunleng Chief Khamliana built in 1918, Lungleng Lal In (Royal Palace) is one of the oldest buildings in Mizoram. Built at a time when gun battles amongst rival villages were Rampant, it has a bulletproof wall all around it. It gives us a glimpse into the past and the surrounding courtyard is a well-manicured private park worthy of a chief. It is educational and ideal for picnics.
